In New Jersey, we offer independent support coordination with the intent of connecting you and your family to the services and resources that you need to live the life that you envision.
In comparison to Pennsylvania, most of our New Jersey customers do not live independently, so the services we provide are tailored accordingly. These primarily include helping to facilitate planning sessions so that what’s important to and for you drives your services; connecting you with community service providers who can meet and even exceed your expectations and then helping to monitor and assure you’re getting the services you want and need to live safely and happily in the community.
VIA currently supports 275 people with an eight-person staff. Of those people, 130 live in institutions, and 145 live with family members or other caregivers.
